Stepping into 2025:
Fresh Perspectives on Cycling Histories π΄
As we step into the exciting future of cycling, we'd like to take a look back with you, at what has been achieved. Read the latest article by Thomas van Laake, doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester, and Henk-Jan Dekker, post-doctoral researcher at CIRED, titled CiclovΓa at 50: Thinking cycling histories from BogotΓ‘, exploring the broader implications of this iconic movement to inspire cycling innovation worldwide.
The CiclovΓaβs golden anniversary reminds us that the trajectories of cycling cities are both connected and separate, as shared problems give rise to different solutions and learning from elsewhere requires βtranslationβ and adaptation to local conditions.

We thank you for your support and cannot wait to release more content in 2025!
